Infrastructure Development by Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation

The Development of Industrial Infrastructure and execution of allied works thereto, have been assigned by the State Government to the Corporation since the early 70s. Accordingly, a self-sufficient Engineering Wing was created way back in 1974. As part of this activity, the Corporation has in the past developed a number of Industrial Areas for and on behalf of the Directorate of Industries in different parts of the State. Apart from undertaking works on behalf of Industries Deptt., the Corporation had also executed some prestigious works for other departments of the State in the past prominently the Agriculture Univ. Palampur, Tea Factory Baijnath, Fruit Processing Plant of HPMC at Parwanoo, Fruit Processing Plant of HIMPROCESS at Jabli and Industrial sheds for Small Scale Ind. & Export Corporation. Total works executed by the organization so far are about 220.00 crore rupees.
